The music is programmed by Bristol based DJ and Producer, Hiphoppapotamus. His tropical flavoured productions have been picked up by the likes of David Rodigan and Craig Charles on their shows on BBC 1xtra and BBC 6 music.
With the hippo in charge of the music the events showcase the finest pioneers of world and tropical fusion from rootsy reggae vibes to African funk, Brazilian drum & bass and beyond!
Big fans of crowd participation, the TTP crew have a range of inclusive initiatives to encourage this and blur the lines between the consumers and artists/crew, these include games such as Limbo, communal congas setup for anyone to drum along with and handing out Leis and tropical clothing for the audience to wear!
