Reggae Roast have forged a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of the UK Dub / Reggae scene. The crew and their Sound System continue to spread their conscious message in music far and wide, whilst fast becoming renowned as one of the key players in the new wave of British Reggae.
The RR team work with some of the best in the business, selling out venues all over the UK whilst holding down a packed monthly event in London and releasing music through their Reggae Roast record label. Keep your eyes peeled for Clifford’s forthcoming releases, featuring guest vocalists such as Brother Culture, ‘Cowboy’ Ras Ranger, Donovan Kingjay, Natty Campbell and a whole heap of other new and veteran artists.
Alongside working with Reggae Roast, Clifford co-ran a Sound System named “Westway Roots” originally out of West London, and he previously hosted a Friday night drive-time show on Kane FM, aiming to push new and classic sound system music, as well as his own productions.
He has just relaunched his own event called “ShakeUp!” Which originated in the satellite town of Woking, and is currently running in South London. He also runs his own hand built bespoke Soundsystem with MC Natty Campbell, who has recently worked with Chase and Status.
Clifford takes his influences from The UK bass scene, Disco, DNB/Jungle and UK Garage as well as the Reggae/ Dancehall world, and is at his best when playing playing to an eclectic, open minded crowd.
